We are currently searching for a Full time Janitorial Supervisor for the Tacoma area. This is will be a working supervisor role that is primarly an evening job with some daytime hours. This is a full time, benefits eligible position.
The Janitorial Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the servicing of assigned accounts to conform to direct cost budgets, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. He/She will also provide the proper support and guidance to cleaning technicians.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Review and control labor and supply costs for assigned accounts. Ensure that it conforms with budgetary standards and sound operational standards/quality.
-Inspect assigned accounts quarterly. Ensure the work performed meets customer quality standards for account retention.
-Visit customers on a monthly basis to maintain good relationships. Complete Manager Reports with each site manager.
-Develop work schedules. Work with Operations Manager to assign cleaning personnel to accounts. Provide fill-in services where needed.
-Trains all new cleaners on proper medical cleaning techniques and that training sessions are held periodically to review programs/policies.
-Assist Operations and Human Resources in staffing of the facility.
-Ensure that all programs and policies of company are being followed.
-Maintain inventory, and supply and equipment needs for assigned accounts, and deliver equipment and materials as needed.
-Is responsible for training, reviewing, correcting, and recommending the employment termination of employees.
-Is responsible for resolving day-to-day operational problems at accounts; notifies the Operations Manager of any problems for documentation purposes.
-Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager and President.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
-High School Diploma, College Education.
-Strong knowledge of maintenance/janitorial industry coupled with a strong knowledge of cleaning products.
-Minimum 3-5 years related work experience preferably as a Supervisor or Lead position.
--Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
-Outstanding verbal and written skills.
-Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and presentation skills.
